try mcmaster-carr. they have 12" sections of teflon in almost any size you want. i used this on my nitro boats for years and never a problem, we had 1 issue in where we got some teflon in 1/16" wall and it was too thin. great stuff!

that super coupler that mike sells IS THE BEST i have had the same coupler in two boats for the last three years. the same coupler!!!!

Super Coupler is $50 for a foot or $10 for 2" with zip ties. 3/4 ID. Will stretch to 7/8 and snug down to 5/8 without any problems. Upper limit temp range is 500*.

I run the PTFE teflon on the Mono`s for years, Last forever You can buy it in atlanta. But was looking for a replacement for the Prather tubing we use to buy. I have found a few sticks of something that looks the same but it is white in color. But Dont know where/who it is coming from.

Is that stuff semi transparent like the Prather and about the same durometer (hardness) only natural color? I have some small (1/2" I/D) like that I got from Mike Hallam, came out of FL years ago. I'd be very interested in some too.

I still sell the silicone exhaust coupler. Available in three sizes:

LARGE: 3/4" I.D. with a thick 3/16" wall thickness. $15.00 for 12" length.

MEDIUM: 5/8" I.D. with a thick 3/16" wall thickness. $14.00 for 12" length.

SMALL: 5/8" I.D. with a 1/8" wall thickness. $13.00 for 12" length.

LARGE coupler is used on the .67 thru .90 engines. MEDIUM coupler is used on .45 engines. SMALL coupler is for the .21 engines. This coupler is rated up to 600 F degrees .I also have this silicone tubing in 3/32" I.D. and 1/8" I.D. to use for fuel and water tubing. It's a little softer than Prather tubing, less prone to tearing ( in my opinion ) and will last forever. Email me at"[email protected]" . I have been using this for 20 plus years.
