Paint Codes

I am looking for the paint codes for the yellow and red U-40 American Speedy Printing 1983.

i have roger newton's paint scheme sheet for the 1983 U-40 Speedy. (dwg. number 138-C, current catalog number 138-F )

there are no paint scheme numbers shown, just wording for the white hull with the red / yellow striping and black U-40. i suggest contacting phil thomas for paint suggestions and graphics vendor. the models i've seen appear to have basic bright red and yellow paint which seems to match the photos of the real boat.

btw, i built a similar boat from the dave frank plan enlarged to 43 inches for gas engine power. decided on a simple non-scale sport hydro paint scheme. i used krylon spray can primer and paints with an automotive 2 part clear.

maybe Aaron Olson will comment about his build ?
