Some time ago I was looking for information about the motor I purchased for my old mono. I believe someone stated something about the piston rod may give up. Well it did. I was trying to get some throttle control and I didn't get the cooling water running quick enough.
Took the poor thing apart and the brass bearing between the lower part of the piston rod and the crank shaft was in several pieces. It looks as if the lower part of the piston rod has a great deal of ware.
What would be the best replacement?
