Made this hull back in the day, something bad happened.
So I made a new one this year.

Looks like it’s close to final finish. Hopefully we will see it racing at the saginaw Sunday classic this may👍
 
Joe I’ve probably have known you for about Forty years. Remember all the Dumas scale you had built All Star Lite turbine and many other. Thanks for sharing your pictures seeing how everything is simple and clean. Thanks again Joe
 
I zoomed in on it and it looks like he rolled up some thin sheet material, maybe aluminum or stainless, and pop riveted it together. Correct me if I’m wrong Joe. However it was done, it looks great!
Correct, aluminum flashing, I made a paper pattern years ago, for square end or tapered end, good pair of scissors, 3/8" overlap, I clamp a piece of 3/4 x 1/2" x 14" long inside at the seam, then drill holes for the rivets one at a time. It weighs nearly nothing, I put stick on foam for flotation.
