:D Andy my friend, You may be starting to see the BIG PIC. :D Some have a lot of $$$ but no common sense  . I do not go out of my way to insult those with a BA degree or higher-but if the shoe fits.

You go to a four year school to learn how to sell kleenex, but there is no life lessons.I had many a friend who had the degree, but couldn't pass the job interview on personality alone. Back in '82 studied COBOL as a programmer/ systems analyst, got the equivalent of the AA, applied at IBM, passed the logic test, passed the interview.....

But the 4 year degree applicant got chosen, even with lower grades. Their standards. Worked 2 jobs, went to school at nights and had to pay the bills, but the one riding mommy and daddy win.

Its a dog-eat-dog world, and I wore milk bone underwear through the whole thing. OOPS

Why didn't I let dad take me down to the recruiting office at 18 will always be the big error in life.Rebellion is a buzzkill.

no randy, not going with your dad ain't the dumb move of the century. i OWN that one......when i graduated h.s. in '69, ma bell was crying for people. they just wanted a warm body with a h.s. diploma. pick your job/carrer, full training, benefits, retirement & profit sharing was on them. coulda retired, sitting pretty years ago. nah, i wanted to be a marine mechanic, so i went to omc factory training school.
