Offshore Cowl

In terms of venting a cowl for air flow on a mono, are the any suggestions to how much is too much- or not enough ?

I dont want to hack em up too bad- but I know they need to be vented.

For some reason I kinda want to run the hatches on my stuff , even in Oval trim.

Application is a 90 Gold head CMB in a 43 Seaducer

and A 67 OPS in a Delta force knock off .

Andy on my sons 90 seaducer i drilled 2 1/4 vent holes in the front winsheild area...i noticed the motor still coming back a bit hot, motor

was not lean..i then added to more vent holes roughly the same diameter...motor seems to be fine,,we always run the cowl during

X-mono..seems to help from water spray from other boats..when are you racing next??

Im trying my hardest to make the Tpa race. Summer time and AC work = Busy as heck.

The X-Mono is gonna get a few tweaks tested Sunday in Brandon, I may try and build out the C-Mono in the am and test it as well.

Miss seeing you guys, been to long.

Andy C-mono is looking good..last race at broward we had 9 boats..not bad for a class last year that didnt even make one race
