does anybody know how to tell if a use car is good off ebay? i know you are supposed to ask them when was the last time they changed the timing belt, and how often they change the oil and all that stuff. what else can you ask them? does anybody know anyone around sf that has a crx si that hasnt been modified and isnt screwed up? i saw a crx on ebay that said it was DOHC. im sure a crx isnt DOHC.

well with all the engine swapping on hondas it's hard to say it's not.. but depending on the year, yes there were a few DOHC CRX's... the CRX is/was teh top end Civic.

i still wouldn't trust what tehy say.. i'd rather see the car in person and drive it.. i can tell alot more about a car driving it one mile, then what most people will tell you about it in 1 week.

A guy at work bought a car and it was a nice car,

But you HAVE To ask, and see plenty of pics of engine and pans and trans pans, and just all around shape.

and pray to god the seller is not full of **** and BSing you.

Really there are some HONEST people on ebay.
