Well I am not really a engine modder...but I did some mods to my OS 15 CV (like in the picture) because I had laying around some of these engines.

Now it beats my stock 15 CV-R and screams like hell. B) I did not change anything on the crankshaft...just some little work on the outside of the sleeve.

That is so cute when RC guys say "oh dude, I got a port and polish, now it has 10 HP!!"

Porting and polishing applys to a cylinder head on a engine that moves air through the head. "porting" the port involves opening up the intake and exhaust ports, while the polish smoothes out the path for the exhaust gasses to leave and smoothes out the bowl so there are not sharp points to detonate prematurly.

Yes the motors we have benifit from "porting" and a little stratigic "polishing," but even that is a misnomer.

Hehe im not that lame :lol: , i was looking at an article an RCCA about a year ago when they did that to a trx .15 and had a distance to time ratio between the two. The increase what quite extrodanary.

Upon re-reading I could see that my earlier post might have been demeaning. Didn't mean to come off that way. Just a claification of terms from my POV. Sorry Phil and others who took offense
