Very shady. Paid for this lot then was told starter not part of sale. Had to have money refunded. Very disappointing. I would like to know what original post said. Before it was edited. I thought it mentioned the starter

Nothing shady about me!! First and foremost When you said you wanted it I pulled everything down. When I realized it was in there I immediately told you. So if I’m shady for making a mistake then oh well. I told you immediately and I refunded you immediately!! So what’s your problem!!!

First thing I do when I’m interested in an item is screenshot the exact post for sale … including the pictures and text.
That way if anything is edited, missing or changed, I have a copy of the original.

I saved the photos when the post verbiage disappeared. Just caught me as odd. The starter is clearly in two photos of the items and was in deleted verbiage. I sent the money as "goods and services" and added the fee. Then was told starter not part of the sale. Money was refunded when I told him to.

At least the OP made it right by refunding the money.. I guess anyone can make a mistake or decide to not sell an included item and remove it from the post.

But,

I think he should have noted that in his edit just to clarify for anyone else that was looking to buy the lot..

You know what Jim, with all the confusion and the fact that you’re still going on about it. Send me the money and I’ll give you the starter also. Note one thing. The wires still need shrink wrapped where they were soldered. But I will tell you this the starter works fine after this deal then we are done. Never had I ever sold anything in a “shady” way as you put it. Why would I want to lose more money than I am without the starter. Nor have I ever had anyone complain like this on any deal ever!!! $175 is definitely not worth this kind of aggravation

Stephen, you know that I have bought a few things from you in the past… you have always been a straight shooter and I think most would agree that refunding the money was the right thing to do. That alone should be sufficient.

Thanks Frank and you know I somehow made the mistake I’d make it right. I’m still dealing with a lot wife my wife and her cancer treatment. It’s not worth the aggravation. When I tried marking the post as sold, for some reason it wouldn’t work. Why would I delete it? That makes no sense. But I was at the drs office with her and maybe it was a reception issue, I don’t really know. But I don’t like to allow my personal life to get in the middle of any business dealings either.

Heck, with the price of a new dynatron, starter handle and the dewalt attachment you could easily ask and get 150 for this used starter alone…
