Nick's first day on the lake

My Grandson Nick had his first day of boating at Brahan Springs lake in Huntsville. He drove his new JAE21 for a while but we had some problems with the rudder. We put it away and he drove Mark Bullards 90 SST hydro and then he drove my 40 SST hydro. He did very well and he will be ready in 2 weeks to try again with his boat.

A nice day of boat testing, overcast all day but not bad for February.

Yes it was very nice to see him running. His mother, my middle daughter also raced in the 80's. She did very well and won some trophies including at the IMPBA Internats. My youngest son who is 35 now also raced in his early 20's. He also did well winning the Bronze medal in 20 mono at the 1992 District 5 championships in Lafayette La.
