As I already stated I can't make this race no matter if it is a one day or two just bad timing for me.
But I fail to see how this is better for the majority of racers.
People are complaining about paying a hundred dollars for a hotel , buddy up with someone hell three or four in a room cuts the cost way down.
Your only sleeping there one night , throw a sleeping bag on the floor.
Ron Jefferson has invited people to stay at his house many times before this is something all club members should try to do if they are capable.
Don't go out for that expensive dinner bring some food in a cooler it will taste just as good after racing all day , and you have to eat if your at a race or not.
Call me crazy but how about only running a couple boats instead of five or six ???????
I personally believe this is a sad thing for the hobby to separate us like this , there is already to much us and them crap going on .
One last thing no one has mentioned the Novice class , F.E. classes or any of the Open classes.
What about all the people that race in those classes?
Not trying to change your mind Mike it is your race to do as you want I just don't see how this is good for the hobby or how this will increase attendance but I have been wrong before.
