:D Hi everyone , i´m from Portugal and have beem driving rc cars for some years. After seeing some rc boat videos the bug storke me again, and there i was headed to the shop to guet some wood and scrath build my own rigger and also the hardware (i´ll post pictures later).

I just need your help to find on which class does it belong and also for some setup advice.

Here are some specs

Lenght 600mm / ~24 inches

Widht 240mm / ~10 inches

Direct drive wiht M4 prop shaft / no drive dog

Rudder behind prop

Powered by 05 car motor(17*2) or 600BB Graupner motor

Ok that seems to be all

TKS :)

In the US, the class will depend on the number of cells you will run. That motor can run eigher 6 or 8 cells, so the class would be N2 or O Hydro. I am not familiar enough with the European classes to say what NAVIGA, etc. class you'd run in.

Initially set the prop depth equal to the sponson depth. Angle the flex cable down slightly (a degree or two) if you plan on using a non-lifting prop. Choose propeller diameters between 35 and 38 mm for 6 cells and 32-35 mm for 8 cells - to start. I suggest not putting the rudder directly behind the prop - put it off to the right side of the transom between 30-45 mm from the strut. Too, I'd recommend building a rigger from proven plans first, as some rigger designs simply do not work. There are some available on this site. Good Luck! B)

Tks for your reply , i´ll might try the boat this weekend. Hope that all woks fine, well at least i'll it floats :)
