that is ok rick i have sold must everything i am done had alot stolen in Broward , come to Florida John you see why alot of are leaving that have been in it for years the two that made those comments are some of the reasons i dont have the passion

Hello

Though i wouldn't consider myself a newbie i have been into boats for 3 years. In those three years i have been club vice president and now current president. I have hosted 80% of the test and tunes. I'm active and try to help as much as i can.

I came into rc boat racing because i couldn't race bikes anymore due to my allergy. Im allergic to carba mix and thiuram mix both are used in the curing of rubber and anything rubber like .Attached are pic's of what a mild contact is like.i am now on disability so my funds are very limited.a metal tank would not have a rubber stopper the mess with thus eliminating one more possible reaction that would stop me from going to a race.

As you can see drag racing was a big part of my life i cannot enjoy or even go watch anymore so rc boats are my vent. I love the racing but have missed many due to reactions. I recently purchased a gas rigger from moparbarn and would love a metal tank for it and slowly change the others over also

Robert why are you bad mouthing Florida Boat Racing? We had a great year down here and I just can't figure out where your getting all this! You attended 1 Race and that race went great but somehow you see the whole District as the worst. I just don't get it!!

Sorry don't mean to derail this thread but I have had enough of this bad mouthing of Florida Boat racers we are having FUN!

Thank you .i really miss the bike racing and mostly the bike racing family. It is totally different then the rc racing group

I think the biggest difference is the fact that if you make a mistake with the boats, it is an inexpensive repair, relatively speaking. If you make a mistake while racing the bikes, it's quickly a possible bill for thousands of dollars at best and someone dying at worst. People that risk their life as well as those racing nearby tend to be more like a "family" as no one wants to see a competitor hurt, or worse.

Your the man .i want to order a matching tank 2 1/4 wide 7 3/4 long 2 high both nitro with hopper it's for twin 11cc outboard tunnels .in the next couple of weeks when some bike parts sell im gonna order two more gas tanks to completely redo my fleet .
