Bought this on flea bay last night looks like some one just thew some parts together for display.

When I get the boat going to need some help with proper set up.

Are there any set up sheets for this boat?

its got the correct strut and rudder on it the boat needs to have trim tabs and the turn fin isnt mounted correctly either. you can get all the parts and set up info from rum racing procucts aka lenny blake,shane

Thanks for all the info. That is what i need to know if it was the proper hardware for the boat or just some parts thrown together.

when i get the boat in my hands i will give Rum Racing a call.

Do you think this would be a boat I could try to race with in NAMBA.

Deffinately; Justin Hill was first at the 07 Namba nats with a K motor and I was second with a CMB 45 rs. I think Lenny was third. I just remember Lenny was very happy his boats did so well.Greg

I hope all the time I spent on playing with the K&B 7.5 in my other boat will pay off.

Just could not keep my other boat in the water was more like a plane than a boat.

Got my boat it has this thing on the front that looks like a trailer hitch ball what is it for. I seen it on pic of other cal craft boats

That is for throwing a retrieve line out over the boat if it is close enough so you do not need the retrieve boat if it dies for some reason when launching or you shut down and are still to far from the bank to get hold of it. Most of the time we use a spinning real with a tennis ball hooked on the end of the line. Hope this helps.

well looks like it will be ready for the test run this week.

Went to rocket city and picked up trim tabs and flex shaft. Spent some time talking with Brian real nice guy.

now where can I get some run time with some other B monos to see if it runs worth a you know what. Hard to tell playing by your self.

Dose any one in central FL run nitro at there club lakes. If so I would love to get some run time with other B monos.

Got it one the water to day. Broke my RPM rod and a K&B dog bone my fault put th front bearing cover on wrong. Did not have the recess at the right position.

Going to go at it tomorrow.

This boat runs like its on rails what a joy to drive.

What props work good on this kind of boat. The P230 ran real good no bog in the corners. But the eng wants more, Revs real high.

Looking for some sugestion on how much eng you can put in this boat?

I run a MAC .45 in mine and it is a vary good running boat.I was also told you could run a .67 in this boat with no problems .
