Got the power! !!! And man is this lipo stuff confusing. And expensive
lookin' good, kevin. we've been having some awesome weather here, lower 70's today. there is a commuter park&ride lot about 1 mile from work. it stays about 1/2 full, so i go at lunch & run a few tanks through my jato . crazy winter, snow showers most of monday, 22* tuesday nite, 70+ today :blink: .

Crazy weather indeed Robin, 12 inches of snow last week and mid 50's this week and now some snow flakes!!! I don't have to worry about a place to run as I'm a equipment operator so I can build my own track for after work hours!!!!! Thats if I get done before dark But on the other hand as my job keeps me out of town almost all summer atleast I can run something as the boats require a lot of time and a special place to run Oh and I'm building a track in my back yard and my brother in law has a track at his house also Should be fun,,, now if only the mail lady would drop off my diff O-rings I forgot to order with the speed control :angry:
I also have to modify or make a new battery tray as the Associated is geared for 2s and will not fit a decent sized 4s....

I did do the spendy esc/motor I can hook it up to the laptop
But the rest is all Hobby king specials B) Now back to figuring out how and what I'm going to build that battery tray out of :huh:Some one also said I shouldn't heat shrink the motor wires like I did :unsure: Anyone have a solid reason as why not????
