Martin after talking with you at Charleston I believe three or four years ago I got Mark to make some brass head buttons. Running them since. Best thing that happened with the 101's

As I understand, Steve Wood is making some brass buttons for the 101 that are working really well.

All of the advancement of the engine technology is experimentation and this is just some of the results of my findings. I have ALWAYS had a terrible problem with detonation on the little engines and this is getting much closer to being able to greatly reduce detonation and still get good launchability (2 degree squish band) and enough low end power to pull high pitch props and go fast.

All of it is a balancing act, as is this.

Not sure I understand.... Are you talking about a toroidal head button shape?
