Here is what Al Waters VP had to say on this matter or shall we call it misprint.
QUOTE
""In an effort to make the NAMBA rulebook more organized and yet still provide the updates as rule proposals pass, the existing pages were scanned. Unfortunately, somehow the person helping out scanned an older than current version of that page. The only changes on that page that should have occurred were the frequencies allowed in R/C model boat use.
You probably noticed that the updated pages have print only on one side. The printing company erred and will reprint free of charge. With that will be the correction to the X class back to 1.80 ci so you can run your twin 90’s. Those pages will be sent out in the next newsletter, which has a projected deadline the end of April. Sorry for the error is all I can say right now.
The last article of the NAMBA newsletter is written by me of which I talk about getting the NAMBA rules available on the web site and seeing the newsletter printed more often. We are working on four issues per year (maybe not 31 pages) and already are trying to reorganize the rulebook. This is more than your question asked for but I wanted to let you know what our intentions are.
We will proof read a little better this next time.
Mike B. sent me an e-mail in the morning on the 29th. I read it on the 30th and replied that I would research the problem. On the evening of the 30th I replied back to him that we would get it taken care of and if he had any problems at any races to contact me.
Let's see...........which hat do I put on?
Al Waters
