Been looking around for a hydro that can handle the new Novarossi 91 DD once its released by Novarossi World for distribution. Looks like this one may do it!!!!!.....lol

Looks like a full sized Roadrunner Hydro!!!!!

Looks like a mini "Lobsterboat" with piston power. That may need a twin cylinder Zen to push it as I doubt a NR 91 could swing a big enough prop

Hahaha. You may be right Mark. Maybe I should scale back to a normal sized Roadrunner.....

Ron,

The tuned pipes peaking out are looking like a Twin set of 91's.

Yes Mark, dual exhaust for sure. You think youcan make me a prop for this monster!!!...lol

That's one of Dan Ellison's boats he built. It's an "E" boat, 5 litre. He can build you a .90 rigger (or a twin!), Ron (-;

Hey Allan. Yes just kidding on the boat but not the 91 DD. Novarossi World still involved in final testing, along with a couple here in the US, and should be announcing updates soon. Thanks.

killer boat! I was'nt sure if it was an "illusion" or what? Maybe a rc boat PhotoShopped..............did'nt realize these guys were employing almost exact same type of hardware (rudder blade/steering arm, adjustable strut bracket assy, etc.,...), only full-size.

Yes, very cool. I thought the same thing David when I saw the hardware. The blades of grass at the left rear side and under the boat arount the rudder still has me baffled lol. The braided water line coming off of the rudder is scale for sure.

Looking forward to this engine!

Any more recent spy photos? I saw the ones from several months back. Thanks!

yeah, I guess those blades of grass are more like strands from a bush.

Those front "winglet's", part of the sponson supports, are very intriguing. Are they adjustable? Obviously they appear to provide extra lift.

David they are moveable by using a foot pedal in the cockpit usually left foot. Changes the boat attitude when cornering and when going full bore in the straights it keeps the nose down. Some of the high dollar sponsored guys have them work electrically with a push button on the steering wheel.

Most racers running 2.5L and up use them preventing blow overs when you get a crosswind or too much air under the boat. The smaller racers 1.5L and 1.5 mod are fixed or pedal style. Scott Liddycoat can explain it better since he still races full size boats.
