Hey guys,
Personally I find it a pain to remove Aeromarine Style taper fit collets from the front of Zenoah engines. There are a few tricks to get them off, but they don't always work, the the insert usually gets damaged when doing so.
So I came up with a tool to easily pull them. It's easy to use and there is no risk of damaging parts.
To use to tool, remove the set screw from the middle of the collet. Then screw on the E-Z remover and tighten it till the collet pops off. That's it! The E-Z collet remover screws it's self on to the collet, and the inner pin pushes against the crank shaft to push the collet off. It's one easy step.
The tool is made entirely from steel and will take a beating. The opposite side is threaded so you can use it as a piston stop, so it's two tools in one!
This tool will work on most Zenoah, Sikk, CY, QuickDraw and other clone engines. I have a smaller tool in the works for Nitro engines.
