Was fiddling with my new ops 45 last night. OPS's carb does not shut down tight enough to kill the engine. who makes a better carb that would fit this engine. or would running a remote needle valve be a choose. Thanks

Here is a question. As I am not familiar with that carb. Is it just not closing all the way? If so, is it because of the design or the way the linkage is set up?

If it`s ops "one"needle carb you have on your engine it will not close all the way outwards but if you look you will see that the hole is smaller from the drum inwards.

So don`t be worried..........

That carb is easy to handle run with it and you will be happy!!

I had an OPS 45. Got rid of the stock carb & went with a K&B red carb. One of Grims adapter worked. The motor ran better & was more reliable. I hated the stock carb.
