Friends, here are a couple of pictures of my new race boat. It came out just a hair under 2 lb RTR. This design is not as swoopy as the "Classic" that Mike will be making kits for, but they run pretty good.

Nice Rigger Glen !! Are all the 12 motors air cooled ? Or is that just A fast car motor ?

Thanks Ty! No, the regular .12 motors I sell have water cooled heads. I often put the little air cooled heads on them anyway though. The motor in this boat now is one of the hotrod car motors I sell and they are all air cooled.

Glenn,

Nice looking set up.

I heard Brett's boat is starting to look good on the water also?

Did you need a upgraded propeller for the new boat?

Let Me Know?

Thanks Mark!

Yes Brett's boat ran very nice for the first day of testing on a brand new design!

And yes I will be looking for some new props for this .12 boat! I have expectations of heat racing in the mid 60's at least. Any suggestions on new experiments you have played with???

Hey Kevin, yes I am using a carbon Texan pipe! They work great!

A buddy of mine took my boat and made molds from it. He does this really cool deal to mold them with some pre-preg carbon cloth in an oven. The one you see in these pictures is going to be a new 21 SAW boat, and I have another lighter one that will be a 12 heat race boat.
