This is a new .12 rigger, my latest design. This is one of 2 I built in the past week.

The boat is made with all high grade birch, no hobby ply. Hard foam was used for the sponson cores, no insulation type foam or balsa. The tub as a symmetrical airfoil design. The sponsons are designed for low drag as well. It's very light and strong. Actually the stiffest of all the boats I've built.

The rear sponson is not done yet but will be included. It's a single rear center sponson with generous dihedral.

The drive behind the design was reducing drag, both aero and hydro. The sponson dihedral angles and afterplane length have been proven in other boats.

The transom is drilled for solinger hardware but those holes could be patched and anything used.

This one is not PERFECT, I would like to see some of the corners and edges a little cleaner. It's nothing that wouldn't clean up with a coat or two of primer before paint. All the riding surfaces and edges are perfect.

This is a new design so I am going to sell it lower than I normally would.

I would like $150 + shipping. That's about $100 off.

How long is the tub and how long is it overall ?

What is the size width and depth inside the tub?

I might be interested in making it electric
