I am considering trying some custom mylar flotation bladders. I have found that I can buy 6 mil mylar rolls that are fairly inexpensive and can be easily cut and glued and sealed. Has anyone done anything like this? I am primarily looking at doing this for my Insane T2 Thunderboats for the shovelnose. It seems like this would be a lightweight option that would allow me to make the entire nose floatation without adding any weight.
