Been working like crazy the past couple days. I need this ready for this weekend! It's finally ready to go.... i'd run it tomorrow but it's mothers day and i'd likely get in trouble! I simply put some stickers on it and gave it a coat of clear.

Tom, It looks like you have grubs in your lawn. You should have a lawn service take care of them. I got a close look at them. They drive by my house @ 30mph & claim that I have them. (they have the best eye sight in the country)

All kidding aside your boat looks real good. Are you going to run it the 17th?

Its going to be at our race or paul will kick my butt!

I have a zero dollar lawn care budget this year. We have about 270 hourly people left where I work. They anounced we will have a layoff next week of roughly 90-100 people.

That's OK, the moles will eat them! Tom's lawnmower blade appears to be sharp though.

If Tom ran on Sunday, that would mean that the Widow Moorehouse would be having a sale on R/C stuff next Saturday, right after Tom's funeral.

Lookin' good Tom.

Paul and I took the boat out for its maiden voyage today. It ran pretty well. It worked best with an octura 2137 prop. I took a video with my phone just before it ran out of fuel. I guess i'm ready for the race tomorrow.

Well the strut does not touch the table as it has a rear ski. It looks close to zero degrees.

The problem I have is that it only takes a tiny amount of left rudder to make a 90 degree turn. It is way to sensetive and hard to drive.

Do I move the turn fin to fix that? Forward or back?

Move it back towards the cg that will help . I allways started with the trailing edge of turn fin @cg and tune the turn fin from there I think marty posted something about turn fins in a post some where Good luck tom Keep up the good work..............................Bob

Tom,

What fin are you running,it almost sounds too deep. My jap21 will make pretty moderate left turns.

Forward more agressive

Rearward less agressive.

It is a full size vegas fin. I believe the 1st bend is 1/2 inch bellow the sponson.

Cut it down... Move it back?

I'm starting to think that BB12 plan I showed ya would be better.

Thanks

Tom
