MY friend of 40 years

My friend of 40 years gets a nice built off-roading jeep, where have you been the last 20 years while I was off-roading with my Jeeps? you had no interest in them while I was playing in the dunes ,going up north in the woods, but now I don't have one, you want to go wheeling?, now he came over with a new off road racing 1/8th scale buggy, again, you had no interest in racing RC when I had a big track and was holding races every weekend for 6 years I operated Shade tree RC off road raceway. But now he wants to do all these things I have done, and no longer have, Now I want to get a jeep, get back into off road RC because I love those things, and now my friend wants to also, just kinda crazy, and I am confused at the same time. gee I sound like I need a shrink..lol

don't be.. people change.. i got so burned out from boats man, everyone asking for help, the high expectations from myself and others and my relentless goal of perfection.

now i mess with my car, while i loves boats.. I don't miss the headaches, time and money spent for what it is. part of that is due to where i live, if i lived closer to where more races are i might feel different

my point is, maybe for yrs he just wasn't in the same MIND as you and now he is.. just enjoy being friends and if you want to get back into it.. HEY THAT IS GREAT.. that is what hobbies are supposed to be about haveing fun and friends.

maybe someday i will decided to get back into boats. just in a different mind set right now.
