I may have asked before, don't remember. What's the benefit of using rubber mounts over solid mounts? A full scale air racer removed his rubber eng. mnts and mounted the RR eng. direct to metal eng. rails. Seems he said he was losing some eng. torque due to the rubber mnts. Also said he can feel every eng. movement. Thoughts?
 
stiffer rubbers-->no rubbers =more power ,more vibration,things come loose,things break,depending on engine-u may crack a case,depending on hull -gets louder

really soft rubbers lead to flex mis-alignment and maybe breakage,also robbing rpm/spool-up with the transfer of wobble down the drive line

all depends on what you wanna do for speed, personal preference
