Check out SDGASSERS. Mark Williamson over there always has used boats for sale, usually in the $900 to $1100 range.

I recently started enjoying the Crackerbox class racing...and there is a guy on this site trying to sell a completed hull....in primer color...it may be a page or two back in the for sale section...
Super fun class and growing in popularity.

You can get a good mono for around that price and they are easy to run and a lot of fun to race.I saw a brand new one ready to go with a very nice radio go for 800.00 at our last race.
