I talked to a auto body guy about painting my boat yesterday. He said that for $100.00 he would prime, wet sand, paint (with any two colors), and crear coat it for me. Sounded like a pretty good price to me, but I was wondering what you guys usualy pay. It's a 46" hull. Also he said that the brand of paint is Lesinol, and the clear coat would be PPG Concepts. Does this sound good. Thanks!

That is a GREAT deal

where is the shop? that is cheaper than me doing it myself, and i dont have to do any work!

i say go for it but make sure that the clear is a urethane clear with a hardner added other wise it will come right off. after you get it back wait 1 week before getting fuel on it this will give the paint plenty of time to cure and the nitro will not effect it. if you get nitro on the paint to early the paint can react and lift off, dis-color, stain, ect...

good luck ;D
