It's not so much like a Youngblood as it looks more like a splashed Husselcraft.

The V on the deck wasn't that "pronounced" on the Husselcraft, and it ran all the way to the point on the front of the hull..
Leroy's boat also had 4 strakes on the bottom, not 2... and the outer edges of the bottom are "hooked" all the way down the hull.. front to back on both sides. Other than that it looks very close!

The Youngblood decks were rounded and the hull was pretty narrow at the transom...( iirc )
I think the V bottom was much flatter than your boat too...

I almost bought it immediately, and then I went and compared my Husselcraft to the pictures..
Close, but no cigar !!!

If it doesn't sell in a few days, I may still take it..

This is my original 39" Youngblood, purchased in late 1980's. Hull bottom looks very similiar in dimensions, although it does appear more "square" at transom (not sure if V-angle is equal?)

That's a K&B in the green Younblood right? I bet that was one loud boat right there!

yep, it was loud. It's an OPS .45 marine. Pretty fast boat then.

I've been sort of re-assembling it recently: re-finishing radio box, new linkages; updating to latest Airtronics radio gear; new flex shaft, new "2017" OPS .45 marine w/NovaRossi pipe (should pull bigger prop)

Youngblood that size would have had 5 inch rails. Maybe it’s a Malibu
exactly what I was thinking. I’ve seen the Malibu boats. Apparently they are fabricated using the original Youngblood molds? (I believe it was “Mountain Hobbies”?)

When I compare both closely, it appears that the freeboard (or side's) have been trimmed down (or "chopped"), such that the deck (which looks exactly equal to the original Youngblood) overlaps the edge of the hull rim. That's why the transom has a different appearance (not as "square" as the original Youngblood).

I'm familiar with Mountain Hobbies he was located in Tennessee . I spoke with him often, he sold all his molds to who I don't know.
