Sooo.......why did you ask?? Sounds like you already had your mind made up.

Actually I was looking into some BP2380 turbine oil but after seeing it was over $200 a case (24 qts) & then Andy turned me on to the kart oil it kinda got put on the back burner........ :huh:

And BTW Jet II supposedly is being replaced by Jet 254 & it's more expensive than the BP stuff. :blink:

Are you going to do any back to back comparisions?? I'll send ya some kart oil if you want to try that.

Not realy. Yamalube is the only lube the factory Yamaha teams use. Maxima and Silkalene have just as strong of a presence as Amsoil.

Cool, whatever works for you. I thought perhaps you might want to have stuff mixed up & ready to test in case we have some more of that freak spring like weather in Jan. or Feb. Hard to believe it was 74 degrees 3 days ago & 41 today...

Amsoil is great stuff, I have used it for many years in my cars and fishing boat motors. Fact is I would use nothing else. However, many of the Amsoil two cycle oils are NOT to be used with methanol. Amsoil 100:1 outboard oil is one of the best two stroke oils ever made, but many racers have made the mistake of using it with methanol. Whatever brand you use call the company tech department and ask questions first. Might save you some trouble.
