i can say you should be able too. my new vegas needed the needle out 6 turns to keep from leaning out and wouldnt start very good like that, changed the tank and all went away..flip tops are for gas cans.. get rid of that crap and put a real tank in it.

I put a metal tank in my wifes super vee love it have seen guys here in fla put them in there vegas less leakage with them. Also thats a good price for a metal tank 40.00 grab it up

i think that sounds real good mike... good upgrade for a great hull.. i do like the little tigre motor seems like a little sewing machine when it is running. i converted trevors boat over to belt start and i will bring it to mendota so maybe friday we can get some action going? see ya there.

Changing the fuel tank is ok for District 8 18 RTR classes.
