metal tank for riggers

gday all

i have built a metal tank for my 45 rigger using a internal hopper/header tank this was done because i was explained that it gives the engine a better hight advantage to draw fuel from and the less change to pick up air, the rigger run fine with no probs

but i have also heard that some tanks only have a baffle in them instead

what does everyone prefer and whats the pros and cons to this

if the tank you made with the header inside works, why change? old saying

If it ain't broke don't fix

just stick with it
