Just bought Futaba's Mega Tech 3PK FM radio and HPS type receiver, my first go with a wheelset-up. Hope that doesn't take too long to get used to.

Quite a nice unit .. More features than most would ever need!

What digital servos are you guys running? Anything to avoid?

I use JR DS 8411's for steering in my 90 mono and hydro. The throttle servos are also JR digitals, but I dont know the numbers. I haven't had any problems with JR digitals.

Ian.

Hoping the Futaba digitals are good, deciding between S9350 or S9451, wonder if anyone has used either..?

:D I have the Magnum 3PK radio and @ 4 receivers now. Mine is the PCM version and I am using "Hitec" Digitals on rudders and having great results. Scott

If you have the "Mega Tech" version of the Futaba I hope you are in Europe. The guys from Futaba USA won't work on it if anything goes wrong, they will tell you to send it back to the country it came from. By the way,the Hitec Spectra module will fit right in your radio, thus eliminating the need for Tx crystals. I have used one for the past year with no problems.

There are many megatech's for sale on ebay. Beware if you are in the US you want the version that says Magnum, not Megatech....
