Matrix Ultimate distance between tub and inside of sponsons

Hi upon putting my Matrix Ultimate together there are no dimensions given for the distance between the tub and the insides of the sponsons emailed climate boat works and Peter said measurements are not important. Would be appreciated if some one could help me out on this one.

I run mine about 4 1/16" from the tub.

Some people run the right sponson 1/8" out more then the left one.

About 12" between sponsons.
