Masked Pinstriping, Graphics, Airbrushing and Vinyl.

It's been a while since a posted a painting video. This one is less instructional but somewhat step by step.

This boat is painted with House of Color with character and letters printed out on vinyl. Then airbrushed highlights on top of that as i the vinyl looks less like a vinyl decals and more like an airbrushed image. The image was however treated in photoshop to print out in the best resolution possible.

I started with a bare hull. Sanded with 400 grit. Painted areas for pinstripes, then asked with pin stripe tape. I painted over mask with Intercoat clear to help seal the mask. Then painted graphics. Then masked over that and cleared again. The intercoat clear was lightly sanded then the vinyl applied with three coats of House of Kolor clear sprayed over that.
