Had a few hours to kill today and its been MORE than a while since I wet a line- so off I went. Really didn't feel like a bunch of effort type trip and had a spot in mind thats been a while- tossed the net once and got about 12-15 pieces of bait and said- if this dont do it- its not worth it. Well first bait pitched into Hell's Kitchen and it was game on, Managed 3 decent Mango's

(all 15 or better) in about an hr and used up my bait. Even had one come up and jump and toss a bait after the hookup- thought I had a short Snook-lol-thats a first.

Not having fished in a year an change , I was happy with my catch and proceeded to take em on ice and make my new bride her first fish meal I prepared.

Felt good, got all the good bites on 2 inch or better finger mullet - they didnt care for the green backs near as much.
