MAC 45/CMB Header ?

Is there anything wrong with putting a CMB header on a MAC 45? I know the iinside diameter is different but I like the thicker wall on the CMB. The outside diameter is the same as the parabolic Andy Brown pipe.

Only if you want to give up a little power. Mostly in the area of torque and throttle response.

The MAC header has not had any problems unless you have a very small amount going into the pipe.

Maybe I run my pipe longer than others on my MAC motor and AB nitro pipe, but I blew right through two headers due to heat. I had Lenny Blake from Rum Racing Products set me up with one of his slide on exhaust adapters bolted to an XXL air/water cooled header.

I used to go through a coupler a race. I am on my third race now and using the same coupler.

This set up is working great for me.
