If you don't follow the instructions, and run the wrong mount you most likely will sell your boat in frustration in short order. It will not launch reliably if you try to run the motor up close to the transom. You bought the best A tunnel available I would suggest you use the hardware the boat was designed around. If you are running NAMBA stock do yourself a favor and spring for the OS I doubt you will get a K&B to run with a propperly setup OS and the mount it comes with is very nice and bolts right on the boat. If you run mod then it's your choice weather you get a lawless or the OS. I run a MAC 21 on the OS lower because I run both NAMBA Stock and Mod by just changing the power head but this required a little custom machine work to get the MAC to fit. Don't take this wrong but the Lynx comes with well thought out and very thorough instructions FOLLOW THE INSTUCTIONS!
I'm going to give it a try with a Rod Geraghty K&B SX ..... But I did think ahead and had the Hughes mount drilled to the OS mount .... Then I can change to the OS if the SX don't cut it....

Use the correct mount , you will be much happier......!!!
