Had fun at the races this past weekend. Finally got my Dad back on the water after an 8yr layoff....and he didn't wreck anything!! Way to go!! I was not so lucky....I killed my squirrel puller.

I also finally got to use my Eagle Tree data collector for the first time in my twin. What a cool little tool. I didn't get the RPM sensors hooked up in time but did log head temp of both motors and GPS speed. Had a very pleasant surprise on one run......102.7mph IN HEAT RACE TRIM Friday evening!!!! With the water being tore up during heat racing on Saturday and Sunday I never saw anything over 95mph with the same set up.

That was an impressive twin alright, it was great fun to watch! Odd though, some posters on here seem to think that you have to run counter-rotating props on a twin rigger to go fast.....yet you ran two left-hand props. Seemed to work out pretty well....in fact I've not seen an oval twin rigger running CR in the past six years.

I think we're going to try to make it. We'll have to talk some other people into dragging their nitro stuff out. I think we will go back to running four boats for the Dallas race, running six turned into work. And if you wanna change it up a little and run 40 hydro or something we'll do it.
