Let me know if you upgraded a boat with a better ESC and motor and have one of these laying around. Need it for a tunnel for the grandkids. It is their 60 amp brushless NiMh and LiPo capable version. Thanks, James Beasley

Mic, lots of posts indicating that it will not do 2S, just 3 - 7S, contrary to the e-manual you have to download. Have you run it on 2S? Users also say the Programming instructions are off and you ahve to guess on what you have it set at? What has been your experience with it setup and programming wise? What is the BEC output voltage? James

James,

I just double checked and in Max's boat we have the Birdie 100a. I can't remember if we programed it or just plugged it in on presets. Anyway it works on 2S and 3S just fine. Like my car esc's I just plug in and it picks up the # of cells. I have no idea what the BEC output is but it works fine with a standard servo.

Just saw this on OSE and for the price it is better than the REK and adapter and motor I put together. 1/8 shaft for smaller props which is better on a 27" tunnel. (less torque roll) Wonder if these would work on a JAE Mini Sprint hydro on 3S. That would be a small pond large swimming pool class.
