Location of Illini Powerboaters race?

This is a District 4 question. A while back I remember reading or hearing the Illini race June 27 will be at the Chicago Speedway. I don't recall the details, is the pond inside the track or somewhere else on the grounds? It should be fun either way. Thanks for any info.

Yeah, I gotta check my schedule to see if that date is open for me or else I'll make it open! I believe that the race in on the Speedway property but outside of the track. There might be something on it in the www.impba4.com web site.

You are correct. To the best of my knowledge the Illini Powerboaters still have secured water at the Chicagoland International Speedway for their June race. I can send you a flyer if you like. I dont know if the flyer has the CIS info on it, but it will have contact info for you.
