They endup up removing the torn piece, so hopefully it will speed recovery. God bless my poor wife- 2 two days of no nothing except going to bed or bathroom for me. Im pretty sure she will just keep feeding me meds

Damn you got the power cooler! I was supposed to get the ice water version post surgery but when the doc found the split upper bicep tendon (only showed up as fluid build up on the MRI but we knew something there wasn't right) along with the torn rotator cuff the position I had to have the arm in for healing wouldn't allow it.

This thing is the bomb- she told me at post op- your gonna have to ice it for 48hrs straight. I told her, I have no ice maker just three trays,

she says " oh your on comp-hold on" and walks back in with it. Best part is I get to keep it

Hope your recovery is quick and complete, Andy.

Nice cooler! (depending on how many beers it'll cool, that is!)

Go to have all this garbage removed in the am - then they say 3 times a week for a min of 4 weeks- then light duty, thats the part that sucks is- my work has NO light duty, So according to HR and the Comp lawyer at least 6 more weeks no matter how I feel. Heck Im getting around on one crutch now and almost just the cane, SUCKS . Be fishing again next week - lol

Rrrobin, all went well. They took all the junk off and pulled the stitches - bruised pretty bad, but other than that he says it doing well. Start therapy sometime next week. Already dumped the crutches and using just the cane, still sore though.
