That Mugello race was the best of the season....then, last week in Spain may have topped it!!!! Honestly, this season has been a snoozer (unless you're Marquez). Those 2 races are what MotoGP is all about.

Yep, Assen is probably my favorite track. I will say that the COA outside of Austin is growing on me. Really cool track.

Assen...I have quite some experience on that track....the ambassador of COA is a 50 year old racer ( KS )whom I met one day......according to him its a challenging circuit

Ronald,

Wow, that's awesome. I always wanted to go to the GP race there. It's on the bucket list! What did you run around the track? Bikes, cars?

Yes, the COA looks very difficult..the elevation changes alone are quite impressive. It would have been very cool to meet the Ambassador, too. That's got to be a good story...

I was reading their web site before the race this spring, and thinking about buying tickets. They have these really cool package deals. They have a yamaha-deal, a honda-deal, ducati-deal. Where, if you buy one of those deals, you get to hang out in that mfg hospitality tent before the race, sit in the stands with others of the same manufacturer group. Best part is, after the race, if you brought your bike, each group gets to take a lap!!
