Hi guys

would like to get some opinions about Lead Teflon vs. Oilite (oil-embedded sleeve bearings).

Thxs

Alex,

A lot depends on what drive system. I used special bushings for my SAW riggers, but generally I found the standard leaded bushings work very well. I have tested all variations of Oilite and with the exception of the exotic plastics, the lead bushing work the best.

Lead Teflon are the best I feel.

But you have to install them right..............

I have a brass driver that I made to press them in. Also a tapered shaft to size them after insulation.

If in stalled right thy are killer. If not thy do not last very long.
