Just wondering if anyone who has built the Blazer Marine -Laughterbach could give an opinon on the instruction manual. After returning to this hobby after about a 25 yr. absense I purchased a Laughterbach & Zippkitt Thunderboat kits.Built the Zippkitt first and found it very easy even after not building for such a long time. The instructions were super, guiding you through every step with great photo's,hardware placement,dimentions,set-up tips, etc. Now the Laugerbach! The laser cut parts and fit were great! As far as the manual it was a photo copy and very hard to read.I have to keep my laptop handy and down load the instructions to be able to read some parts. As far as the steps go they just seem to take you part way through what you are doing and leave the rest to guess work, the photo's are poor and some of the steps just leave you hanging. No engine(other than transom to plug diemention) radio, stuffing box location, etc.
I'm not trying to trash the boat, I'm about 3/4 through the build and the boat is looking great. I just wondered if anyone who has built one feels the same about the build instructions. To fully understand what I mean try going to both web sites, down load the instructions and compare. I really like both kits! (attached pic of Zippkitt)
