Hey Gang,

Sounds like people are getting an early start breaking those FE records! And... before anyone comments otherwise... Brian's P-Hydro is running on 4S1P... unless something changed since the last time we spoke... ;)

1) Brian Buaas ran 97 mph [and change] in P-Hydro

2) Bill Oxidean ran 30 mph for the new Eco record

3) Mark F up'd the NAMBA S-Mono record to an even 69.0 mph

Hey Gang,
Capt. Ron posted this on the Red Board... Sounds like people are getting an early start breaking those FE records! And... before anyone comments otherwise... Brian's P-Hydro is running on 4S1P... unless something changed since the last time we spoke... ;)

day one noon report from the LA SAWS...
i spoke with Dan Chase and got this [unofficial] noon report from Legg Lake...

this morning the weather has been cool and overcast with calm to slight breezes...

three NAMBA FE records fell during the morning session:

1) Brian Buaas ran 97 mph [and change] in P-Hydro

2) Bill Oxidean ran 30 mph [and change] for the new Eco record

3] Mark F up'd the NAMBA S-Mono record to an even 69.0 mph

more this evening at the close of day one activities...

Ron
Thanks Darin for the updates. Please keep them coming- guess I will never get over liking F/E SAWS events. Go once and your bit.

I take it this also means Ron didnt make it out as planned . Too bad- he's got some WICKED fast mono's .

I had to re-read result #3 - a few times to realize Mark didnt (mess) something up in S-Mono- LOL.....Go figure, its from Ron. LOL.

Keep us posted please..

Andy

I talked briefly to Brian tonight... hopefully more later... he was in the middle of cleaning up for the day...

He made a 99mph one-way with his P-Hydro with a 1521 1D Heat racing setup... Blew off on the return and did some minor damage, but he'll be back with it tomorrow... His goal is well in sight! Again... 4S1P guys!!

He also made an amazing 94mph one-way pass with his Whiplash Sport 20 hull with his P-Sport HEAT racing setup in it! Not sure if that one was 1P or 2P... I'll find out tonight...

Stay tuned...

Darin what boat is Brain running in P-Hydro ??

Looks like another soon to be 100mph club member in F/E - Give em hell Snowman !!!!!

Darin what boat is Brain running in P-Hydro ??

It's a custom built Carbon Fiber rigger... about 38" long tub... Looks a lot like a Nitro boat... about a .45 or .67 sized Nitro boat... It's also basically bullet proof... for real... has carbon/kevlar construction! The RTR package weighs about 5.5lbs or so...

Hey Gang,

It's come to my attention that I'm making a big "no-no" by directly quoting another board, so I appologize if I've crossed any line... I'll try to just get the results and post them without directly quoting anyone else... Sorry...

Looks like Brian just bumped the P-Sport record to 85 and some change just a bit ago... with a one way pass of 95mph! Conditions are reported to be excellent, so results today should be GREAT!
