KnB connecting rod

hi guys we are running tunnels in our local pond, we all enjoy this little 21 knb outboard, the engine is fine and easy to tune, but our concern is connecting rod,seems did not last a long time, we would like know if where we could find a heavy duty rod for this fine engine. any info would be appreciated. thanks

Can try Joe Monohan at 707 specialties 909-584-1638, not sure if he still makin them but he did make a nice con rod for the kb's, he may have one layin around, i currently have one in my mod .21 outboard and takes the beatin just fine.

last time i checked with remy, he was no longer making k&b rods. been about a year ago, could have changed since. joe at 707 may be your only hope for an aftermarket rod, or find an old dogbone style oem rod.

I would try Brad Christy here on I.W. He makes titanium rods that are a piece of artwork. See if he has one for your model K&B.
