Kippkits .21 outboard rigger conversion to FE

Has anyone converted zipps nitro outboard rigger into FE. Was thinking of doing one with p-spec gear. Would a 4 cell lipo fit??

BTW...I think his kit was originally a JAE .21 nitro kit...no O/B kit..

HW... Thanks for the reply. I seen that thread yesterday and I think ur right about it being a .21 nitro kit and not the outboard kit

It started out as a Nitro kit.

moved the front bulk head up 1"

made the ski 1 3/4" wide.

added a bulk head a couple inches to the rear of the motors one to accomidate the radio.

now I have to wait till warmer weather.

hey carl,

cant wait to see some videos on it.im still thinking on the rigger outboard. it looks like it has a little more room in the radio box for the lipo and the ESC with out having to move the bulk head

i was thinking the lipo would fit where the fuel tank is in this pic,i just dont know if that would put the CG to far back.I guess if it does there should be plenty of room in the front radio compartment for the battery

Why hang a motor off the back when there just fine with it in the boat.They look a lot better to.
