Kavan Starter

I'm thinking about buying the small Kavan starter for the .12s. Has any one had any experience with these.

Sorry Mike,

It's a small geared starter sold at Hobby Lobby. Here is a picture or look up Kavan at Hobby Lobby. Says for starting 20 to 60 engines.

If you want to spend half as much, just buy a regular starter. If you like the small size, get one. If you do, let us know how it works.

I think I will Ron. I have a Sullivan and a Hobbico but with the 13" belt I have on the .12 I just think this one would be easier to fit in. And besides, I JUST WANT ONE! ;D I'll let you all know how it works.

I have the Kavan Starter for my planes, and it works great on planes, however I could not get it to spin my K&B 3.5 Outboard fast enough to start it. It's a real powerhouse though!
