They were also supposed to produce a inboard version that i'll bet they would a bunch of these last few years

Unless your planning to run the .45 sport outboard class why would anyone want a Super Pro? I have yet to see one modded winning at any major races. The plain old 17mm 8702 is a great engine and if K&B would just concentrate on a couple models maybe they could produce some. I have put together several from parts with old and new sleeves that have won heats at the Internats and Charleston. That said a new Nelson powerhead costs the same as a K&B from parts. The Rossi is less money and Dave at Hyperformance has them in stock. K&B shelf the "PRO" and get some lower units in stock.

I may be wrong , But at Charleston didn't some run in Sport with a Rossi power head and stock K&B lower unit with the stock exhaust system ? meaning no pipe .

Charleston runs a loose interpretation of the 45 sport class. Kind of run what you brung without tunned pipes. All powerheads and lowers included to the best of my knowledge. I think they are trying to resurect a class. Do not remember any Rossi's on stock lowers. But Mike Z won with a "PRO" K&B. (must have been the boat)

Here's one vote for "The Driver." :) The boat worked well, also.
